Frequently Asked Questions

How Many Photographers Do You Need for a Wedding?

The number of photographers needed depends on the size and complexity of your wedding. For smaller, more intimate weddings, one photographer might suffice. However, for larger Asian weddings, which often feature multiple ceremonies, outfits, and a large guest count, having a second photographer is highly recommended. This not only adds a second perspective, helping to bulk up your gallery with diverse angles, but also ensures that if things are happening simultaneously, one photographer can be in one place while the other covers a different moment. Ultimately, the right choice depends on your specific needs and the scope of your celebration.

In the event of bad weather do you have a backup plan?

Absolutely! We always plan for unpredictable weather, especially in the UK. We discuss these options during our pre-wedding meeting, tailored to your specific location. You'd be surprised at what we can achieve even in small spaces like bridal suites or certain venues; just using a backdrop, we can create some very creative and beautiful images. We also bring the necessary equipment, like weatherproof gear, and have contingency plans for key shots. Your comfort and the quality of your photos are always our top priority.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

We're based in London, but our passion for capturing beautiful moments takes us all over the UK. Travel costs are included for the surrounding areas of London, and beyond a certain radius, there may be additional travel charges and potentially accommodation costs, depending on the start time. We also specialise in destination weddings and are available to travel worldwide to capture your special day. These details can always be discussed during the consultation.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, absolutely. We are fully insured, including public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

This means both you and your venue are protected, which is something many venues - especially larger or exclusive ones - require as standard. We’re happy to provide insurance certificates upon request if your venue needs them.

In addition to business insurance, we also have professional-level equipment cover and manufacturer support in place. This includes access to backup and loan equipment and priority repairs, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of equipment failure, your wedding day coverage is never compromised.

Having these safeguards in place allows us to work confidently, professionally, and without distraction - so we can focus entirely on capturing your day properly.

How long do you take to deliver your images?

We typically deliver your full gallery within two to four months. The exact timeline can vary by season and our workload, but we always strive to deliver as quickly as possible without compromising quality. Additionally, we aim to provide 20 to 50 preview images within 48 hours of your wedding so that you can share those highlight moments on social media right away, again this varies depending on workload and if we have back-to-back events

How would you describe your style?

Our style is quite candid/documentary with editorial moments in between. We don't like to force moments, more so, guide the couple if necessary. We aim to be unobtrusive throughout the day, but we won't shy away if we need to take control.

What happens if the wedding runs late?

Asian weddings often run behind schedule - and that’s completely fine. Usually, we will make the time up throughout the day, but we can liaise with you and the suppliers if this happens to be the case.

We’re experienced in adapting to changes on the day. If coverage needs to be extended beyond the agreed hours, this can be arranged subject to availability.

Do you pose us, or is it more candid?

Our approach is largely candid, but we do offer gentle guidance when needed - especially during couple portraits.

We won’t ask you to do anything uncomfortable or unnatural. Instead, we create space for real moments while subtly directing you to look your best.

How much time do you need for couple portraits?

Usually between 30 minutes – 1hr, depending on your schedule.

We work efficiently and understand that couples don’t want to be away from their guests for long, especially during Asian weddings.
